Imus Apologizes for Rutgers Remark
That remarkable broadcaster Don Imus, with his posse, on the radio the other day:
"Imus was speaking with producer Bernard McGurk when the NCAA title game between Rutgers and Tennessee came up.
"That's some rough girls from Rutgers," Imus said. "Man, they got tattoos ..."
"Some hardcore hos," said McGurk.
"That's some nappy headed hos there, I'm going to tell you that," Imus said.

Nice. I'm sure everyone out there who has ever listened to Imus knows that his gang - especially Bernard - are a bunch of racists.
I'm a long-time listener and think Imus is one of the best interviewers out there. And really funny when he's on his meds. But when he's off them, he's a real jerk.
Back to watching Anna Nicole Smith tributes on E!....

Imus is a great interviewer, however he has become less and less funny since his marriage. I used to listen every morning on the drive to work, now if I listen once a week it is a lot. He has gotten too repetititve and predicatable. Any longtime listener will know that this comment is hardly the most racially offensive remark he, Bernard and the rest of his crew have made throughout the years. However, the shakedown artists Sharpton and Jackson have no moral standing to demand his resignation or firing.

A car I drove doing deliveries between college and the army only got one channel, WNBC in New York, so I listened to the last hour of IMUS and most of Stern every day.
Jackson was the "Hymietown" guy, right? And Sharpton, who can tell no truth, is a piece of work, right Tawana Brawley?
Pots and Kettles.
Imus will probably turn up on XM or Sirius one of these days.
